Do I need an LCD Screen replacement?
A common issue on laptops – besides the broken DC Jack – is when all of a sudden your screen goes dim.
It happens way more often than you can probably imagine, and one out of five computers will have to be service for this particular problem in less than 2.5 years after being bought. It is caused (85% of the times) due to a malfunction on the part responsible for boosting the tension you have out of your battery/power cord to light up the screen.
In order for the screen bulb to light up it is necessary up to 750V (a good reason to avoid trying to service this part in a “do it yourself way”).
Here, at GeekAvailable.com we are able to safely test and service this part in a proper and quick way.
As soon as we have your computer we’ll be working to diagnose your computer with the first 24hs (most cases same day) and have it fixed and back to you as soon as we can.
Note: In roughly 15% of computers showing this problem it is actually the screen bulb that went bad. In this case, you are most likely going to replace your laptop screen. There are people who offer the bulb replacement service and we already performed several bulb replacements too. Due to the poor screen quality resultant of this we choose not to offer this option anymore. The savings can get in or around $100 but the low quality of the results make it not worth it though.
If your computer had any liquid spilled on it, please give us a call as fast as possible, so we can help you save your computer.
Don't risk losing everything you have by trying to fix on your on. You need to always keep in mind that even though a computer may turn on after a spill, that doesn't mean that you are free from damaging the computer.
